Buzz is a seasoned software M&A expert with more than a decade of experience advising founders, boards, and investors on landmark M&A and financing transactions across software and broader technology.

He has advised on more than $35 billion of transaction volume, spanning take‑privates, strategic acquisitions, growth financings, and complex cross‑border deals.

Prior to joining AXOM Partners, Buzz was a senior member of Morgan Stanley’s Software Investment Banking team in Menlo Park, where he advised public software leaders, high‑growth VC‑backed disruptors, and the most active private‑equity firms in the sector. Earlier in his career he advised on software M&A at Evercore and technology transactions at BofA Securities.

Buzz is known for pairing first‑principles strategic thinking with relentless execution, giving clients an edge in competitive, high‑stakes processes. He maintains trusted relationships across the technology landscape and has a track record of orchestrating creative processes that maximize value and certainty.

A California native, Buzz holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the BYU Marriott School of Business.
